Moreau Moreau Moreau Your Boat


This is my very first funny art in watercolor! I'm pretty pleased with the results. As always, I had some trouble with faces and so Moreau #1 doesn't look quite like Moreau #2 or #3, but they all bare a slight resemblance to the actual Jeanne Moreau, I believe. 

This image is pretty tiny (the blogger format is not very kind to short, wide images) so if you want to see it bigger just click on the painting! I'm going to have it professionally scanned next week, so this is just the temporary scan (It's big so I had to scan it in pieces and put it together in photoshop)

I totally recognize her in all three, she was such a chameleon she looked quite different in each role she played but always recognizable with those sad but deep eyes.
